Planning your queer fall style with denim
It’s officially the first day of fall y’all!
I get a few DMs a month about how I found my style & here are a few of my tips & thoughts ⬇️
🪱 wear whatever is COMFORTABLE
🦆 you can cut anything shorter - ie mens shirts - I love a dress shirt but I don’t love tucking anything in. Cut that baby shorter
🖤 work wear is your friend. Get two bottoms 1 pant & 1 short
🦐 pick two colors and go from there - one “neutral” and one “accent” — my neutral is denim & my accent is usually a neon
💎 accessories are your friend. Think - bandana, bolo, gold necklace, silver rings, pins, buttons.
This is a good example of denim as a base, highlighted by the red accent boots, gold jewelry and a bandana as an accessory.
This is an example of shorts for fall. I'm always a bit warm and usually wearing shorts as long as possible. I love the combo of shorts and a sweatshirt. Here i used denim as a base again, and camo was the accent color.
